New resources are added as they are identified, and as sources are vetted.

Aiming to foster hope by curating, and expanding access to resources that offer mental health support.
You matter.

Everyone deserves support! With warm vibes and a caring spirit, I'm here to provide information to guide you to resources that fit your needs. If there's something I'm not educated or qualified to assist with, I will research to connect you with resources that strive to help. Just need someone to share something with? Fill out a contact form, and I'll be happy to listen!
You are not alone!

I believe advocacy is all about passion, empathy, and supporting others. Mental health affects everyone, and shouldn't have the stigma that's attached. I advocate to bring awareness, promote positive mental health practices, erase the stigma, and to bring hope to those who may feel they have no support or may not know where to look for assistance. I strive to be a safe space for anyone in need.

Providing others with easy access to resources and information is the heart of this project. I believe everyone deserves access to support, and care. The Resource Library is updated as additional legitimate sources have been discovered. If there is something you're looking for that isn't listed, please send me a message through one of the contact forms and I will start researching your request.

AKMHAdvocate offers a curated resource library with mental health information, support connections, and local providers. I provide a listening ear through the contact form, help guide people to appropriate resources, and share promotional items to spread awareness and reduce stigma.
After joining my first AFSP-Indiana "Out of the Darkness Community Walk" in 2025, I wanted to get more involved with helping people find their hope to keep going. I decided to volunteer for AFSP-Indiana Chapter, and also for NAMI Fort Wayne once I discovered their organization. I still plan to volunteer with these organizations, but I wanted to start something of my own to do what I can to help others.
Currently, AKMHAdvocate operates without generating profit, but is not a registered non-profit organization. I am still looking into what options I have to grow this project, and am open to the different opportunities that may arise.
No, I am not a licensed healthcare professional. This project is a mental health advocacy initiative focused on sharing personal experiences, resources, community support, and raising awareness. My goal is to offer hope, help reduce stigma, and connect people with helpful information - but for personalized mental health support, please reach out to a qualified licensed professional or crisis resources in your area.
